BLDE Association's Public School, Jamkhandi, was started in 2009-2010 to provide quality lower primary, upper primary and high school education to students from rural areas. It is located near Polo Ground, Jamkhandi, and is about 65 km from the railway station.

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and follows its syllabus. However, it also seeks to incorporate the latest international trends that enable the development of individuality, interpersonal skills and more. The school emphasizes academics, sports, arts, culture, community, and character-building activities towards this end.

She holds a B.Ed. degree and an MA degree from Karnataka State Open University, Manasagangaotri, Mysore, an MA degree in History and a BEd degree from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, and a B.Com. degree from Bangarunagar Arts, Science, Commerce and Applied science College, Dandeli.
